Montreal based DJ Moose reigns as the maestro of dark melodies and mysterious sounds in his weekly podcast The Gothic Moose. A long time member of the dark alternative music scene, DJ Moose guides listeners through the shadows with his unique mix of gothic, industrial, and darkwave tunes.

Beyond the entrancing soundscape of The Gothic Moose podcast, DJ Moose is more than a curator of sonic journeys; he is a passionate advocate for causes close to his heart. As teen, he stood with his fellow Latvians against the Soviet Union as they demanded Latvian independence, and he worked to raise awareness about the brutality of the Russian Soviet Union. Since the illegal seizure of Crimea in 2014, and even more so since the full scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, DJ Moose has become a vocal supporter of Ukraine. Starting in March 2022, DJ Moose decided to use his platform to raise awareness about the challenges faced by the Ukrainian people. Since then, The Gothic Moose podcast, has almost exclusively featured bands that are Ukrainian or bands that stand with and support Ukraine.
